No offense taken. Did I 'turn those guys that way'? No, I don't believe you
can change a person, only bring out the best or worst in them. I've always
done my best to bring out the best in a person by treating them with
respect, understanding, kindness, etc. I take the time to find out about a
person, which shows that I care. I've done very little to cause such
hateful, abusive situations. At one point, I thought that perhaps I was
being too good to guys, and they were taking advantage of my giving nature.
So I stopped treating guys so good, and the same thing happened (abuse,
disrespect, lies, mistrust). That would lead me to believe that it's them,
not me.

I think the problem is maturity. I've often felt that many guys my age are
still quite immature and thinking with the wrong head. However, most
sensible older men are already taken, or too old :-)

That is actually a very good idea & there are places that rent wedding
dresses now.

The problem is that a person can likely buy this gal's dress cheaper
than they could rent one.

And I *believe* that a rental on a nice wedding dress package is about
$300 - $400

hrmmm ...

I have almost 400 consignor clients now and have turned down a lot of
wedding dresses. They would not be hard to find.

Consignment Rentals! I could pay the dress owner a commission on each
rental.

If I keep typing and thinking, I may steal more of your ideas and call
them my own :) j/k
